The Cesidian calendar, and why it is different

The 1st day of January is not just the "secular" (or civil) new year, as Jews often define it, I guess to distinguish "New Year's Day" from "Rosh Hashanah", the strictly Jewish (or religious) new year.

To call it in such a way is to deny the existence of the Gregorian calendar, or at least to deny its origin.

The Gregorian calendar is also known as the "Western calendar", but before this calendar became internationally the most widely used secular or civil calendar it was, and still is known as the "Christian calendar". It was named for Pope Gregory XIII, after all!

And by the way, Pope Gregory XIII was a "religious man", just as a rabbi is a "religious man", and a "Catholic" religious man to be more specific.

It should also be noted that the Hebrew calendar is not the only other religious calendar besides the Gregorian calendar.

Here is something even religious scholars don't know: the Gregorian calendar, unlike the Hebrew calendar, is a Marian calendar, and a Marian Calendar is also a collection of feasts honouring the Blessed Virgin Mary, or the mother of "Jesus the Nazorean", even according to the New American Bible (Revised Edition) accepted by Catholics.

In fact, the very first day of the year in the Gregorian calendar is not a holiday only in Times Square, Midtown Manhattan, New York City, as probably lots of Jewish folks think, but actually a Marian feast, "holiday", or holy day also known as the "Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God" [1, 2].

Mary is called the "Mother of God" not because "God's mother" is Mary, but because "the mother of God's son" is Mary! So Mary's title of "Mother of God" is nominal only, not factual. Mary is the honorary, or exalted "Mother of God", not the factual "Mother of God". She is Mother to God, not of God! She is magnified above all women! In fact, that Mary is magnified above all women is stated plainly both in the biblical verse of Luke 1:42, as well as in the Catholic "Hail Mary" prayer.

Few Christians realise, or are conscious of the fact that Jesus is not the natural son of God, but the adopted son of God (the biblical verse of Psalm 2:7 spells that out quite clearly, since it is actually the ancient and oral Jewish adoption formula), and some religions even think that God can't have children! In fact, Catholic Christianity demonstrates that God can have children even without having a wife!

Even fewer Christians realise why "Saint Joseph" is the husband of Mary, and the stepfather, rather than the father of Jesus. This fact further emphasises that Jesus was, and is, and even more definitely shall be, the son of God, and shows that most fathers, having more of a cavalier attitude towards children than a paternal one, are more often intruders to the family than helpers, for the ultimate foster-father is God himself.

A foster-parent is a person who acts as parent and guardian for a child in place of the child's natural parents, but without legally adopting the child.

So God, you see, has many children, contrary to what some religions believe, even without a single wife, because God creates children daily through his "Ultimate Mother", and many other mothers [the "mother(s) of God"]. God is not a sexist. Men are sexists! God is a Marian!

God is thus the foster-father of many children, but with Jesus alone he is adoptive-father, rather than foster-father.

Jesus thus is God's "favoured one", the "anointed one", the Messiah. The legal father-child relationship, the legal relationship with the Ultimate Divinity is only through Jesus. God doesn't just take care of him by assisting his parents, as God would do for any true prophet (the role of the foster-father). No, God has adopted him, meaning that all that is the property of God, property in the sense of physical, not necessarily always spiritual belongings, is also the property of Jesus.

Current governments are only title managers, not unlike the relationship of foster-parents to foster-children. They can and do manage the property of God indirectly, and even without paying taxes in some cases (do sovereign governments pay taxes to any superior authority, even to God?). However, the ultimate title holder or owner, and not just the title manager was, is, and even more definitely shall be Jesus. Jesus is the ultimate owner or master; everybody else is, at best, a property holder (like a farmer's relationship to his natural assets), or title manager (like a true government's relationship to its property holders).

Jesus' relationship to his people is like that of a real parent to his children: he has legally adopted his people, even when they are not biologically related to him. The relationship of governments to their peoples, however, is more like that of foster-parents to foster-children: governments have not legally adopted "their" people, and in fact governments almost never act like they are genuinely concerned for the welfare of "their" people (unlike real parents with their children, whether natural or adopted).

As I stated before, the Gregorian calendar is, in reality, a Marian calendar. This is so because Mary came before Jesus. We are not living in the "Church Age", but in the Marian Age!

The Cesidian calendar, on the other hand, is a Messianic calendar. In fact, the very first day of the year in the Cesidian calendar is a Messianic feast or holiday, "Messiah Day" [3].

Even more pertinently, the Hebrew calendar is a lunar calendar.

The Gregorian calendar is a solar calendar.

Yet both the Hebrew and Gregorian calendars have 12 or 13 months (the Hebrew calendar has a Metonic cycle of 19 years, of which 12 are years of 12 months, and 7 are years of 13 months).

So Marian calendars are based on 12 months, which is pretty much based on the Moon or lunar cycle. The Moon takes 27.3 days to orbit Earth, but the lunar phase cycle (from new Moon to new Moon) is 29.5 days. So there is a full Moon about every (Gregorian calendar) month. Because the time between two full Moons doesn't quite equal a whole month, approximately every three years there are two full Moons in one (Gregorian calendar) month. Over the past few decades, the second full Moon has come to be known as a "blue Moon" [4].

The Cesidian calendar, on the other hand, has 14 months every year [5].

However, while the Number 12 is associated with Mary alone (there are, in fact, 12 months in the Gregorian calendar, and in the Book of Revelation the Virgin Mary wears a crown of 12 stars) [6]; and the Number 14 is associated with the Messiah alone (there are, in fact, 14 points in the Star of Bethlehem, and 14 Stations of the Cross) [7]; Messianic calendars are not based on the (Gregorian calendar) month, as Marian calendars are, but on the (Cesidian calendar) week.

In fact, as I stated before, the very first day of the year in the Cesidian calendar is a Messianic feast or holiday, "Messiah Day", and every "Messiah Day" falls on the "weekday", or day of the week called Jeuday, which is also the Cesidian calendar's weekly sabbath or day of rest.

Just as not every year in the Hebrew calendar is made of 12 months, not every week in the Cesidian calendar is made of 7 days! In fact, there are two special sabbaths, an annual, and a leap year one, that is:
  1. the last day of every year, or the last day of the second septamester, is a special sabbath, which is called Earthday (the last week of the year has 8 days, which explains the reason for the 8 days of the Cesidian Hanukah or Chanukah/Hanukkah);
  2. the last day of the first septamester of every leap year is a special sabbath, which is called Marsday (leap years have two special weeks with 8 days).
If you add the interesting Number 12 and Number 14, you get the Number 26. Every Cesidian calendar month has 26 days (with the only exceptions being the two special sabbaths mentioned above). Also, every Cesidian calendar septamester has 26 weeks.

Christians celebrate "All Saints' Day" [8]. While the first day of every year in the Cesidian calendar is a Messianic feast or holiday, "Messiah Day", or the first day of the first septamester of every year, the first day of the second septamester of every year is Mothers' Day, or in essence, "All Marys' Day", the ultimate Marian holiday.

In the Cesidian calendar Jewish holidays do not follow the same pattern they follow in the Hebrew calendar, but a different pattern. However, both Jewish and Christian holidays, and even some Buddhist or global holidays, can be celebrated or followed through the Cesidian calendar alone.

Here is the reason why some Buddhist holidays can be followed through the Cesidian calendar: both the Christ (Jesus) and the Buddha (Shakyamuni) are as related to each other, as Saint John, the "disciple whom Jesus loved", is related to the Venerable Ananda, "Shakyamuni's heart disciple". Not only is that true, but the Buddha himself predicted Jesus' Second Coming or parousia, and revealed he would be far greater than himself.

Another telling feature is this: if Jesus is genuinely enraged at you, and you don't think your sins are forgivable, you shouldn't bother too much to ask him for forgiveness. Ask his mother. At the wedding in Cana, Jesus did exactly what his mother asked him to do, that is, he literally turned water into wine, even though his time had not yet come! Only Mary can intercede on your behalf if Jesus will not. This is evidence that Mary is indeed magnified above all women. This is also evidence that Mary is related to the Divine Mother aspect of Buddhism, or the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion Kuan Yin, also spelled Kwan Yin or Quan Yin, and known as Kuan Shih Yin. It should also be noted, however, that Mary does not hold a monopoly in the compassion department. Buddha also described the man who would be far greater than himself as the Maitreya Buddha. The word Buddha means "Awakened One", and shows that the born again Jesus will not hold second fiddle to the Shakyamuni Buddha not even in the department of Supreme Enlightenment, but the name Maitreya means "Compassionate One". While Mary is definitely strong in the compassion department, Jesus has both compassion and enlightenment. After all, he did say, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12). The Marian Age, or age of mindless compassion (Pisces), will ultimately yield to the Messianic Age, the age of mindful compassion (Aquarius).
